Bank Owned Homes in the Cherry Creek School District

by Doug Jones on May 20, 2010

Homebuyers are still looking for a great deal.  Can you blame them?  How about a great deal on a bank owned home in the Cherry Creek School District?  Can you still find one?

Absolutely.  In fact, as of the date of this post, there are 15 bank owned homes in the Cherry Creek School District ranging in price from $184,900 to $899,000.  Home buyers have come to know that this school district is one of Colorado’s top ranked districts.  That top ranking helps explain why neighborhoods in CCSD typically have a higher resale value.

For $184,900 you can buy an attached home in Centennial CO with over 1800 square feet, 2 car garage, 4 bedrooms and 2 ½ baths.  At the other end of the market is a 3364 square foot ranch in Greenwood Village CO on over 2 acres, 3 car garage, 4 bedrooms and 2 ½ baths.  And of course, you’ve got everything in between.  The banks are anxious to sell these homes, but realize they sell them in as-is condition.  Your TLC is usually needed on any bank owned homes.

If you or someone you know has been thinking now is a great time to buy, you’re right.  And if you are looking for a home in the Cherry Creek School District and a great price, then a bank owned home may be just the ticket.  Call or email me for more information on these homes, or any real estate questions for the greater Denver Co area.
