We love our homes in Denver and all the surrounding communities. But each home does require annual checkups, just like us. Here are 5 reminders for your home this spring.
- 1. Have your furnace and air conditioner serviced. Now is the time for excellent service from Heating and Air Conditioning professionals. (HVAC) We are just past the furnace and heating season, and right before summer and installations of new air conditioner units.
- 2. Here is one most people forget. Vacuum your refrigerator coils. Lint and pet hair can accumulate and reduce the efficiency of your refrigerator. Just remove the front grill and gently vacuum. Try rubbing a dryer sheet over the area when you’re done to prevent static buildup
- 3. Wash your windows and check your screens. Need I say more. If you don’t feel comfortable on the tall ladders, there are many professionals that can help you out.
- 4. Check the exterior of your home. Gutters and downspouts survive the winter? Any missing gutter extensions? Sprinkler heads all working and directing water away from your house? Are those bushes and trees trimmed away from the home? How about paint? Water is your enemy out here, so keep it away from your home!
