Parker Co 2025 Land Use Plan

by Doug Jones on June 2, 2009

Ever wonder what your community will look like in another 15 years?  If you are a resident of Parker CO, or are thinking of buying a home or moving to Parker,  the Town of Parker has made this very simple.

Posted in the Developments in Public Hearing Process of the Town of Parker’s website, is a great map showing you where the town expects to be in 2025. This General Land Use map shows large categories of land use for any future development.   The general land use plan provides overall guidance for planning and zoning decisions.

And of course, any one who owns real estate property in the Parker area knows, parks and open space continue to be very important.  A balance of natural buffers, recreation spaces, parks and open areas are included on the Parker 2025 Land Use Plan.

Not to be confused with a zoning map, this map only gives approximate location of future zoning districts.  Commercial centers and neighborhoods shops are usually clustered toward busier intersections.
